ABOUT Nicky!
Nicky Kaider is an actor from Damascus, Maryland; who moved to New York City to pursue his acting career and enrich his performance studies.
He graduated from the Integrated Musical Theater program at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), and received his Certificate in Musical Theater Performance in the Spring of 2022.
As a young martial artist, he dreamt of becoming an action film star and stunt performer. He decided to begin his acting career by auditioning for his middle school musical, where he fell in love with the stage.
During his time at AMDA, Nicky found a passion for tap dancing. He auditioned for and was accepted into AMDA's 2021 Spring Tap Workshop, taught by Oren Korenblum, as well as the 2021 Fall Tap Workshop, taught by Nic Thompson. Many of Nicky's favorite roles are those in which he has gotten to tap dance; particularly Cosmo in Singin' in the Rain, Phil in White Christmas, and Mike in A Chorus Line.
